Did he actually say which team he could have helped?  Maybe he meant he could have helped Bama score a defensive TD. :dunno:  If that's the case then you gotta agree with the lad.

He should be thankful that, by virtue of not having played, he is the only person on the LSU side of the field who can legitimately hold on to the fantasy that things could have come out different. That's a gift that will last a life time. Had he played, that idea would have been reduced to a fleeting thought, gone in a matter of minutes.
