If it happened right now, he has Alabama a #10 seed against San Diego State in the East and Kentucky #1 in the East. Can we pay a deposit and lock it in today? Can we pay a deposit and lock it in today? I wish. But with JG returning, maybe they can make that a reality. We have 2 road games, Arky & OM and 2 home games, MSU and the barn. To have any chance, I feel we need to win both home games and one road game. Arky has been a bear for us on the road historically, and I'm not too optimistic about that game. The other three, however, we have a real chance at. Title: Re: Bracketology (Joe Lunardi) Post by: ricky023 on February 21, 2012, 02:47:48 PM I would love to see this right now. I do believe CAG knows what he is doing with our team. J. Green is coming back so this may help us with a new attitude get over the hump. RTR!

MSU played Kentucky very tough last night and that game in Tuscaloosa is a must win. Arky on the road, as you say, is probably the hardest game of the 4. The other two games I see Bama winning. I think that we're in the Dance if we win our home games and at least one in the SEC tournament. If we lose any at home, it becomes a bubble situation (again). :popcorn2: Title: Re: Bracketology (Joe Lunardi) Post by: pmull on February 22, 2012, 11:36:06 AM ...That's a pretty tough 4-game stretch. Steal an away game and win two in the tournament and our seeding will improve greatly. The away game at Arkansas will be easier than the Ole Miss game IMO. We have had terrible luck at the Tad Pad over the years. Title: Re: Bracketology (Joe Lunardi) Post by: Hannibal Lecter, MD on February 22, 2012, 12:07:02 PM Any chance we get a little bit of an edge over other bubble teams as kind of a "make-up call" for last year?

It's possible. I also think if we finish the year strong they will give CAG credit for suspending our two best players and the team continuing to fight. I would rather keep winning and remove all doubt. I want to get off the bubble and work on improving our seed. |
