It's hard to say that anymore because most folks around the country are wanting someone other than the SEC to win the National Championship.

After winning five straight national titles, should the SEC champ get the benefit of the doubt when it comes to the national title discussion? What happens if the best team in the SEC has one loss and there are two unbeaten BCS conference teams? With the league stronger than ever, it could be the hot topic of the 2011 season. All this and more in the 2011 CFN SEC Spring Preview.

Good thing we won't have to worry about this.  I know a SEC team that is going to be 13-0 when the final BCS poll is released.

The SEC Champ has to be in the BCSCG until somebody knocks them out. Who out there can beat the SEC Champ? Look at last year, we had Auburn beat like a red-headed step child but we gave them the game so they could go to the NCG and they beat Oregon who was to be so high powered. Auburn wasn't even the best out of the SEC. They won. RTR!

Uh, 14-0 is what it should be, unless they're going to award the BCS Championship before we even play the game.

The final BCS poll is the one they release in December.  It is used to determine who goes to the BCS bowl games.

You're thinking of the final AP and final coaches poll.  When those are released in January it will be 14-0.

13-0 should put us in the big game, unless they put the NCAA basketball committee in charge of football too.

I think the SEC West Champ. means a trip to the BCS. You know we saw LSU get in with 2 losses and won the BCSCG. RTR!

Lately is HAS been that it's been the SEC=BCS Champ. I would hope that no one gets complacent about it though. EVERYONE is coming after the SEC because we are winning. I think they are like some politicians - wanting to level the playing field. Take out some great competitors and let the others play.  I'm not saying that the troubles in the SEC are not valid - they are.
As far as Alabama, EVERYONE is coming after them also. I would not be surprised to see more dirty plays leveled against us this year. Teams are frothing at the bit to "BEAT BAMA".  We just have to stay focused and WORK four quarters!

The field will really be something if we ever get beat in the NCG. The whole world will be cheering and praising the team that could do it. RTR!
