#+ Good job guys. Looks like they're picking it up. Glad to see they didn't take it personal against FAU.

Yeah, we finally had some decent pitching and timely hitting in the same game.  Tomorrow will be the rubber game in the Tulane series.  Would be great to win a series on the road, especially against a good team.

Good win for us on the road. Not only does it stop the two game losing streak it gives up a chance to win the series tomorrow. A win tomorrow will also even our record at 5-5.

Here is a good article on yesterday's win.

Quote
"When you get quality starting pitching like we did today with Charley Sullivan, it leads to good defense," Alabama coach Mitch Gaspard said. "Charley did a really nice job, throwing strikes and pitching to contact, and we did a good job on defense and kept the game in our favor for nine innings."

Designated hitter Josh Rosecrans had three of the Tide's nine hits, and Jared Reaves went 1-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to nine games.

"Offensively, we were able to get an early surge in the first inning," Gaspard said. "We took advantage of their starter, who struggled a little in the first, and we were able to knock him out.

I was impressed with Sullivan in the FAU series, poor defense and the bullpen cost Bama a shot at winning that game.
