HTH Players name --pos.-- latest news, link, etc. If you saw a story on a player, besides posting the article in the Quad news, you would click on quote and update the roster, by adding the link or a brief description. The idea being that with everyone contributing, we could have an up to date consensus of the team that one could refer to for either an overview or news on a specific player. Suggestions? Title: Re: ALABAMA Football 2012 Roster Post by: BAMAWV on March 16, 2012, 07:49:03 PM This thread is beginning to snowball with momentum. Maybe this weekend I can make up a template for you guys to see what I'm thinking about- a quick reference to the status of the team-- player by player. Right now, Mr. Darling has kidnapped Aunt Bea and Duck University has it's hands full with Lehigh.

Quote Three sprained ankles and one strained knee were the only injuries that Alabama coach Nick Saban mentioned Friday after the team's second scrimmage of the spring. None of those injuries was serious, he said. Safety Vinnie Sunseri, defensive end Jesse Williams and Caleb Castille, a walk-on defensive back, sprained ankles. Safety Robert Lester strained a knee.... Title: Re: ALABAMA Football 2012 Roster Post by: BAMAWV on April 11, 2012, 06:21:15 PM April 10---
News of the day Alabama coach Nick Saban listed off quite the list of minor injuries after Friday's scrimmage. Three of the four -- DB Caleb Castille, S Vinnie Sunseri and NG Jesse Williams -- were dealing with ankle sprains while the other -- S Robert Lester -- was bothered by a knee sprain. Saban wasn't kidding when he said the injuries were minor, as all four players were on the field and active during the open portion of today's practice. Williams and Sunseri had some noticeable extra tape on their ankles and Lester had a brace on his right knee, but none looked to be too cumbersome. What's hot Who was that No. 6 guy working with the running backs during the first period of the media session? It was none other than Blake Sims, who has been out all spring with an injured hip. Sims' stay with his colleagues didn't last long. Before the whistle for the next period blew, Sims was back on the stationary bike next to offensive lineman Arie Kouandjio. The grind Couple of fun teaching moments I was able to witness within a five-minute span. Each involved a player at a relatively unfamiliar position. At the end of a sled drill, Williams, who played defensive end last season, apparently wasn't chopping his feet enough -- at least not enough in defensive line coach Chris Rumph's mind. Rumph didn't yell; he instead taunted Williams and the group a bit by chanting "You thought you had a victory, but in the end you got burned." Williams' promptly group got 'em choppin' again, which pleased Rumph. On the other side of the line, offensive line coach Jeff Stoutland was once again working very closely with early enrollee Alphonse Taylor, who is now three practices in to his time at guard. The former defensive nose guard candidate obviously has strength and size that can't be taught. It's just getting him on the same page as his teammates. That's going to take time, but Stoutland liked what he saw right after giving Taylor an earful. On the mend There isn't much progress to report with backup QB Phillip Sims. He was once again on the field with the quarterbacks, but he wasn't throwing the ball. The shoulder soreness, apparently, has not gone done enough. Phillip Ely continues to take the backup reps. Title: Re: ALABAMA Football 2012 Roster Post by: SUPERCOACH on May 16, 2012, 01:21:14 PM Right click on the link where it says "Click here for link". You should see a menu with a "Save As" command. Click on "Save As" (the wording will be slightly different depending on what browser program you are using). Then you should see a screen that allows you to pick a location. If you select Desktop, you should see the icon on the main background of your screen when you move all the windows out of the way. It will probably be a red colored icon with a big fancy "A" that says PDF on it somewhere.

He just scored 7 times but it was more than once when they pulled him out for MFBATR to get the score. BATR was the bull in short yardage so whether they were padding stats or not it was still the right call. But I can't remember the game being held up to get BATR on the field in a 3rd and goal or something-- CNS trusted EL much in the red zone as he did outside. I hope no one mentions the you-know-what word when talking about EL this summer. It was still a TD every 12 or 13 times he touched the ball.
