Peacock was booked in the Washington County Detention Center at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and had bail set at $2,500. Peacock was released at 12:32 a.m. on Saturday. He has a hearing set for Monday, and a court date set for April 16. According to the arrest report by university police, Peacock admitted to using a stolen debit card to purchase $35.01 worth of gasoline for his Lincoln Town Car at an EZ Mart. According to the report, Peacock admitted to taking the wallet from a female classmate in the Fine Arts Building on the UA campus. The wallet, which was reported stolen while the female’s purse was left unattended, was later found in the men’s restroom of the building, but was missing a debit card and the female’s Arkansas driver’s license... They probably saw the hit on the debit card, got the time, then went and looked up the footage to see who was buying gas on that pump. |
