Of course, they still have to prove it on the field, which is where the problem will still be obvious. As long as they play Indiana, Minnesota, Iowa, Youngstown State, Central Michigan, Western Michigan, & other such "powers," they will be able to always have 6 or 7 gimme victories.

More appropriate this year to say, "USC is back", but none of the contenders ha proven they can beat any SEC contender. Yep, the Eastern/Northeast media slobbered over Big Ten football for 40 years telling us how great it was. It never mattered that they constantly got whipped in the Rose Bowl, it was still Big Ten football. It didn't matter that there were only 2 football teams in the conference, it was still the mighty BIG TEN.
