Title: "Reuben Foster (Bama recruit) may transfer to Alabama high school" Post by: Chechem on March 28, 2012, 07:46:45 PM http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2012/03/star_linebacker_recruit_reuben.html
Quote Foster, a five-star recruit rated the nation's No. 2 overall prospect by 247Sports, told ESPN he wants to leave Troup County High School in Lagrange, Georgia and enroll at a school in Alabama that will allow him to complete his course work early and graduate in December, allowing him to enroll at Alabama in January of 2013. Northridge has a runningback, Bo Scarborough, that a lot of folks are recruiting. He had a knee injury last year but should be 100% now. I don't think so," Watts said. "Saban's standouts at linebacker at Alabama have been jumbo-sized guys like Hightower and McClain. I don't think he has had anyone as athletic and explosive as Foster." :oThe guy plays LB and RB, has great speed, solid tackler. Sack numbers may go up. He had a knee injury last year but should be 100% now. Bo's recovery was projected at 18 months. It was a bad knee injury (perhaps similar to Dont'a's with multiple tears?). The fact that his rehabbed to the point of being cleared to go full out for spring practice is a testament to his work ethic. Some say we are going to be good but we need more RB's. My grand-son is LB and FB. RTR!

I hate that happened, my daughter and 2 sons graduated from there and I've been a fan of theirs for many years. I've yet to see Bo play, but I know Northridge was a pretty good football team until he got hurt. If he can return to his past playing status, I would think that Northridge will be tough again this year. If they could coax Foster to come, he and Bo might be awful tough to beat. |
