I glad glad to see baseball getting some attention on this forum. A series win against KY this weekend will have us in good postion to finish in the top half of the SEC. No one expected us to win the series at Ole Miss last week. The bats have come around more as the season has progressed, and we stand as good of a chance as anyone to end up at the top in the west (or conference). This team is pretty fundamentally sound from what I've seen of them.

Smart has done a good job in recent games. Whitaker has also been effective out of the bullpen. A strong pen is necessary to success in the SEC.
