Title: "Competition is fierce as Crimson Tide reloads its secondary"

Quote
Take it from wide receiver Kenny Bell. The pass defense will remain solid.

"I still think we have some of the toughest corners in the SEC," he said.

Safety Mark Barron and cornerbacks Dre Kirkpatrick and DeQuan Menzie are gone, but safety Robert Lester is back as a third-year starter. Junior-to-be Dee Milliner has started 17 games in the past two seasons at cornerback.

Travell Dixon and Deion Belue are junior college transfers who are competing with returning backups such as Jonathan Fulton at cornerback.

Sophomores-to-be Vinnie Sunseri and Ha Ha Clinton-Dix lead the competition at safety.

Experience might be lacking. Talent is not.

Jamos, what kind of work do they do in the first scrimmage?  Mostly situational or is it more game-like similar to A-Day?

I'm not sure this year, we always watched them scrimmage the Saturday before ADay but due to Easter, we are going a week early.
