Wow, that can't be good. I've never heard of anyone involved in a motorcycle accident having only minor injuries. I've never much cared for the guy, but I hope he'll be ok.

What does banged up mean? Usually, with a motorcycle, it means something is broken like an arm or leg, not to mention severe "road rash." Good to hear he's not seriously injured.

Well, with broken ribs, he definitely won't be coaching for a few weeks. Even breathing is painful and God help him if he sneezes.

You got that right. Been there, done that. Rib injuries take forever to heal.

 I broke a rib last summer, and still have some issues with it. And the best medication for a broken rib is Zyrtec. Stop those allergies so you don't sneeze.

There's a new update. The Arky St Police are reopening the investigation to investigate why the Trooper who provides security for Petrino is the one who met him and took him to the hospital. Methinks Petrino was trying to keep it on the down low and the trooper was assisting. It's looking bad for ole Bobby.

Things are starting to get pretty nasty in Hawgville, and this is from a state where the average married couple was introduced at their family reunion.

He said during his first press conference that he called that specific trooper to meet him, but I didn't think anything about it before the news about the girl on the back of the bike came out.

Hmm, let's see. First, he hires a woman on the taxpayer dime who he's sleeping with. He's married with 4 kids and when he has his wreck he involves a State Trooper captain, then lies to his boss the AD about  the whole thing. He's now a laughingstock, the university is embarassed, and his credibility destroyed. Despite all this, I doubt they fire him. I think he gets a very large fine from the university, something like $500,000 & the woman gets fired. What Mrs. Petrino does is another story.

Consider this scenario:

OK, they fine Ol' Bobby 500,000..so what? for him, chump change. No raises for a couple yrs? Again, So what, he's already scoping out his next job.

Now for the biggie: IF they fire the blonde bombshell, she will scream like a mashed cat..and hire the biggest name lawyer in Ark and sue the bejesus out of the UofArky.
ANd she'd be right.."if you fire me, you gotta fire him".

I have seen this unfold a few times before.

Maybe they have a better case to fire Bobby than the blonde..after all, she has done nothing wrong/against her contract..?????

IMHO, they both should go..better off for the U..cut your losses early, hunker down and hope to get a good coach.

And I won't get moral..but a man must recognize his position, his responsibilities, his integrity...in all cases, in all situations, all the time.

Bobby did not.  And for that he must pay..not me, not you, not the U, but with his pride, his job, maybe even his family.

My guess is that before all is said and done, Missus Coach is going to own Bobby's petrinos.
