Title: Softball: Alabama Hosts Georgia State Post by: pmull on April 17, 2012, 07:45:36 PM Alabama is losing to GSU 5-1 with Bama batting in the bottom of the 5th. Alabama gave up 5 runs in the 5th on 3 walks, error and pass ball. Jury was the starting pitcher and has been replaced by Locke.

We travel to Athens on Thursday to play a Thursday-Friday-Saturday 3 game series with Georgia. The Thursday night game is on ESPN2 at 7:00 CT. Jury is just not pitching at the SEC level yet, and needs to get better in a hurry for us to have any chance at a good post season run.
Having said that, you can't lay this loss completely at her feet. With only 4 hits and 1 run the offense bears a great deal of the blame today.
