Cool.  Someone else is watching the game.

I started a separate in the game thread because I didn't see anyone following this thread.

Now that American Idol is over, maybe we'll get more views.

Fear the Fish!

USCe rolls out the tarp... which looked like a bunch of duct taped Walmarks bags! Still scoreless with a 7 inning no hitter sitting around getting cold. >:(

I'm concerned about the relief pitching.  Which we may see after the break.   >:(

Actually, it's his Seventh start.... And he looked impressive.  It's a shame that it got postponed by rain.

The Tide infield bailed him out more than once. Bama strands a boat load through 7 off 4 hits. RTR

Alabama loses Game One 1-0. After the no hitter was resumed this afternoon in the 8th inning Alabama gave up one hit but it was a solo HR.

Game Two starts at 6:00.

The similarity to the basketball program can be compared without becoming a "wait 'til next year" fellow. Young, talented freshmen are gathering playing time and shedding rookie stereotypes. This process may seem numbing and even at times (these 2 games) excruciating, but as the buds turn to blooms, excitement around the program will also blossom. Recruiting will continue to improve and confidence (Leewillie will tell you) will begin to run deeper. At least, at the University of Alabama, we have a dynasty to watch (and our very own forum) to bide our time, while waiting for these almost inconsequential programs to develop into champions. RTR

I don't share your enthusiasm. We are beginning tp play better but the fun is in the winning. I don't like last place in a 12 team league.

This season is particularly hard but tempered with the accomplishments in gymnastics, softball, golf, etc.. I always think of the younger Crimson Tiders,--losing without our volumes of winning history to fall back. RTR

I knew we would have trouble in this road series. We actully played good in game 1 and almost outscored USCe in game 2. Game 3 today was a disaster. We are still dead last in the SEC and we have an uphill climp just to make the 10 seed in the SEC Tournament.
