I can't say I blame him for leaving. If I was in his shoes I would want playing time too. I think he will do well at Virginia or wherever he ends up.
Phillip Ely had a good spring and he will be a very good QB if he is needed. Our QB position is in good shape. Also invariably, someone would have to waste the time and effort to correct the fallacy. While wishing him the best, I feel that Nussmeier and CNS could better spend their time developing Ely.

Yeah, the idea of a completely untested and very young QB stepping up to play against LSU, A&M, Missouri, etc., is someting to have major concern about. This is the SEC, not Conference USA. :shake: |
