I remember the USCw game very well. I was 13. It was a night game and me and my father sat out on the patio and listened to the game on radio. Very little TV coverage in those days. Bama radio man John Forney was aware we were going to run the wishbone but could not tell anyone until after the game had started. I did not know who Terry Davis was going into the game. We jumped out to a big lead and held on to win the game. USCw was a very good team that year.

On Sunday I could not wait for The Bear Bryant Show to come on so I could see the wishbone in action. We had many good QB's during the Bryant years but I don't think any of them ran the wishbone better than Terry Davis.
