The weather may be the biggest problem for Bama today, we have severe thunderstorms predicted today so we'll have to wait and see if we can get the game in. There is rain also predicted for tomorrow.

Today is Kelsi Dunne Day and hopefully I can work with the rain makers and get the game in. RTR!!

I just checked the weather and I think they have chance to get the game in. The early start time of 12:00 helps. According to weather.com the forecast for Tuscaloosa is cloudy this morning with the chance of rain increasing as the day goes on. The chance of rain at game time is 60%.

The baseball team has a first pitch at 2:05. Their chances are even worse for rain.

Well we are going to be watching the weather with you and hopefull the girls will get on and off the field. RTR!

The game has started. Dunne pitching for Bama. Hogs batting in the top of 1st.

Ark leaves the bases loaded in the 1st but fails to score. Bama coming to bat.

Score tied 0-0.

Dunne struggles in the first.

Gave up 2 hits and a walk to load the bases.

Then struck out two batters to retire the sides.

I hope Jamos made it to the  game

Bases loaded and 1 out. Let's get some runs.

Me too. I wonder how the weather is. According to weather.com the rain comes in between 2 and 3:00.

Locke hits 2 rbi bases loaded single to give Bama 2-0 lead

Bama having a big 1st inning. Bama leads 5-0 and only 1 out.

Rilley-Boccia hits 3 run HR to give Bana 5-0 lead.

The Ark pitcher may not make it out of the 1st. She just walked Hunt.

Good 1st inning, Bama batted around, scored 5.

That's a good way to start a game. We need to mercy rule them again today.

I hope so.  The weather here in middle Tenn. is pretty iffy right now.

Lipscomb is playing in Spartenburg S.C today and they have already posponed the games till tomprrow.

The weather has been terrible in Decatur all day.

Dunne finally gets out of the 2nd. Ark scores 3 runs. Bama coming to bat leading 5-3.

Bama gets 3 more runs in the 2nd. Bama leads 8-3. ark coming to bat in the 3rd.

I hope Kelsie settles down and finds her zone.  She has not pitched well in the 1st 2 innings.

She's off to a bad start in the 3rd too.

a walk and 2 singles load the bases for the hogs with 0 outs.

This does't look good.

Dunne gets out of a bases loaded jam with 3 K's.

Bama leads 8-3 coming to bat in the 3rd.

After loading the bases with 0 outs, Dunne strikes out 3 in a row to end the threat.

Maybe those 3 K's will settle her down.

In thinking back to Tuesday and the game in Knoxville, Kelsie was not "on her game" there either.  She was always behind in the count... a lot of 2-0, and 3-1 counts and she allowed 5 runs.  We just happened to score 9 for the win.  But it was not a typical Dunne performance.

Bama goes 1-2-3 in the 3rd.

We need to do the same to them.

Good inning for Keksie in top of 4th.

3 up and 3 down with 2 strikeouts.

We need to score a few runs so we can end this thing in the 5th.

Dunne finally settled down and finished the game strong.

I made it Lee and we just got the game in before the rain came. You were right in your statement that Dunne wasn't her usual self. She had no rythem and was high on most pitches, she has either been sick or going through some type of injury.

By the way, Dunne got to hit today on her special day, but poped up.
