I remember watching that play on TV as clearly as if it were last season. A friend brought home (to Montgomery) a copy of the Miami newspaper from the day after the game. There was a pix taken looking right down the goal line that clearly showed Joe with half the ball across the goal line. No doubt he scored.
Still ticks me off. Right up there with the blown call against Penn State. |
