Best burger I have ever had was at "Mugshot's" in Tuscaloosa. It had an egg on it. I really never thought that would taste good, but it was delicious. We started making "Ranch Burgers" here at the house. My lovely bride mixes the Ranch Dressing Mix into the beef, makes into patties, and I toss them on the grill. Hey X, there are several here in Mobile now: one on Old Shell near McGregor and another on Airport near University. There is also one in Tillman's Corner I think, near Government-Rangeline intersection. Good, good stuff. And the bacon they put on their burgers is actually crispy, not this soggy crap the other chains put on theirs. I dined there 2 weeks ago yesterday on our family vacation (see my thread about the lost hat in the gulf of mexico).....My burger was great, but you are right on those prices. They are mighty proud of that food in there. Add in the boxed stuffing mix sometimes also. Similar to bread crumbs in a meatloaf. |
