As a fan I hate the cupcake games.

The Big 10 has to quit playing FCS teams because their league is so weak in conference that they can't afford to water it down further with out of conference games.  Besides, it is really embarrassing when they lose to an FCS team.

I didn't think he had the range to be an NFL kicker.

In January, he participated in the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic in Montgomery. In March, he spent a weekend in Phoenix, where he won the Greg Zauner College Senior Specialists Kicking Combine by hitting numerous kicks from 50+ yards, something he wasn't asked to do at Alabama. Shelley also attended both of Alabama's Pro Days.

Notre Dame and others after recently visiting Tuscaloosa for the Tide's A-Day game.

“Their graduation rates for the last three years have been very high," Whitley told BamaOnline after his A-Day visit. "That’s what I was mostly focused on, because my academics are something that I’m going to be focused on when I go to college. I liked the engineering program. They have tutors for every player. That’s going to be my main focus. I know they have a thing for winning and all the national championships, but that’s not all I was worried about.”
