I bet the Florida fans would probably would have liked for that to be ruled as a fumble returned for a touchdown rather than have Brantley injured on the next play. All the Floridians around me were saying their season is going down the drain and "he might not have been great, but he was a leader." I think they have a lot of talent on that team, but we should know more than anyone how far a true leader and game manager can get you. GMAC is still one of my favorite QBs in the last 15 years.

Part of me wonders if Miles allowing Jefferson back onto the team will disrupt their team chemistry. If it becomes a distraction that could hurt them, especially if Lee has the possibility of Jefferson taking his place as the QB on his mind. I wonder if that could increase the chances of them slipping up. If it does I hope it happens...

While we are talking about ol Brent. My Dad mentioned to me about a time he was at Legion Field for a game against Tennessee. He said the TV announcers were announced in the stadium, and Mussburger was one of the "fine" contributors for the television audience. Dad said that when the announcer mentioned his name a lot of people booed in the stadium. He said Mussburger had said something derogatory/belittling about Alabama. Does anyone know what he might have said?

I think the Big 12 is more unstable than a stack of Jenga blocks. Just a couple of more cogs pulled out and the conference could fall slam to pieces. I'm still not sure how I feel about Missouri.. could be an interesting addition.

Can't find him anywhere, but I can tell you this...Princess Toadstool isn't looking worth the trip past all those Koopa Troopas nowadays!!!!

It says the team is staying in Ocala. I live in Lakeland, but I am staying in Ocala on the way to and from the game. I know they have a really tight schedule, but what do y'all think are the odds I could get a couple of autographs if I bump into them?
