 The web is finally back. Went fishing early this morning in 840' of water. Nice Warsaw Grouper. And a few snapper. Beautiful. The only thing I caught this weekend was cabin fever.  Two of us went out this afternoon for a 1-hour trolling excursion in the small (26') boat. We caught 5 big jacks (Yellow, Crevalle, and Bar Jacks). Fun, but the seas got rough again. Goooood Mornin Everyone  Chech it looks and sounds like the fishing is still great there.  2S it looks like you could do some trolling down 9th in the pickup  We had a bad looking line of rain come thru here yesterday afternoon and more last night but we still have less than a half inch total in the rain gauge since last Friday.  I saw that line of storms heading through your area. Thought for sure you would get some significant rain. There's another system heading our way. I'll try to get Chech's guy to deflect it from here, towards you.  Noooooo Thanks 2 ... This river has a 7,500 mi 2 drainage basin upstream from here and it has been getting enough rain the last few days to have it rising pretty fast up there already and all that water has to come by here to get to the Gulf. |

 Gooood Mornin Everyone... Hoping the rain ends soon for all you folks on the gulf coast. Still not all that much rain has fallen here in Sowega...maybe a half inch all total over the weekend at my house. Tight lines Chech...still waiting for pics of Mr Grouper I noticed a line of storms moving your way yesterday. I was hoping you would get more out of that. Oh well, today's another day. Yeah, I was watching the radar all day yesterday too and it seemed like as the rain moved inland that it began to break up and move a whole lot faster...which is a good thing for me. I'd a lot rather be moving the hoses and sprinklers around the yard than moving out and rebuilding my house. Our forecast here is about the same and there with no less than a 50% chance of rain every day for the next 7 days. |

Gooood Mornin CRSers...looks like another dreary day on tap for Sowega. I've only had about 2 tenths of an inch of rain so far here at my house 40 miles NW of Tallahassee but there's at least a 50 percent chance of rain everyday for the next 7 days. I feel bad for you 2...If it had rained as much up river from me as it has over your way I'd be moving out today...hoping you and yours continue to stay safe on high ground and that y'all get to see some sunshine soon.

Who knows what the face of college football will look like if the playoff plans are adopted. Whether it be the plus1, 3+1, or a 4 team box proposal,-- things will be dramatically altered never to return. Superconferences are to follow,--mark my words. The best a traditionalist like myself can hope for is gridlock amongst the big 4 in finalizing their plans to ruin the geographical ties of conferences and the dominance of the SEC.
