Morning, Leroy. Hope you have a good day and a Boomer night. Mornin Chech, It's been a while since I was in Tupelo. I worked as a surveyor on a COE contract for about 4 months back in the 80's during the construction of Fulton lock and dam. We stayed in a dump called the All-American Inn just a few blocks from Elvis' birthplace. |

Absolutely! In fact I'm leaving in about 5 minutes to hit 'em & chase 'em. You doing ok today? Doing good, would like to put the boat in and go chase some schooling striped bass but I'll probably settle for catfishing from the bank in the backyard till the ball games start. I can confirm this. I heard it on jox as well. Isn't NC getting ready to go on probation?
First, I think UNC is a good start for someone like Malzahn. Plus, their being on probation automatically gives Malzahn at least 2-3 years to make excuses about thier bad performance, it hey get clobbered the first 2 years. Thirdly, the ACC in general is in turmoil and change. Beamer at Virginia Tech is pushing 70, Miami could be toast with the NCAA, FSU is struggling, Clemson seems to be going backwards the last few games, and Gottfried is coachng at N.C. State. Personally, I don't see Malzahn being much of a hed coach, but we shall see. If he doesn't get a HC job this year, it may never happen since I don't see Auburn doing great things next year, maybe 8-4.  Yep...I would be surprised if he gets an offer but if he does he better take it if he ever wants to be a head coach. But Crazy Kristi is part of the package, unfortunately for him.  Ed Zachary |
