I am feeling like this may be like Saban's first A-Day Game. We maybe see who is playing hard with this new offense and Defense. RTR!
I think this one will be like Saban's first too. Only, I'm expecting to see record, or near record numbers of fans present... I remember Saban's first. My brother and I were in the stadium early and just sat in amazement as people kept showing up and them having to open previously closed sections of the stadium.. Then it turned out they turned away an estimated 15k. |

I'm with you Doc. I am ready to try this new concept that I keep hearing about. Some folks call it "retirement." But unfortunately, it will be many years before I'll get to see what the fuss is all about myself. In fact, I'm scheduled to work up until lunchtime on the day of my funeral...   Go ahead and take the morning off. |

Howdy folks. This Sunday has been cloudy all day. Cold too. I am anxious for two things right now. 1. The A-Day game. and 2. SUMMER!
The one good thing though is I am leaving for Kauai, HI again in early March so I'll have some nice weather for a bit...
Some people pay a lot of money to get to "work" like you do in Hawaii. It's that dang ol' Monday again, and I ain't happy about it at all! |

We need a win against Auburn tonight. This team has played some close games against good teams, but hasn't gotten over the hump. We could use a win vs a top 10 team to build some confidence.

Yes, you read that right. He came out of high school the year Jalen Hurts did and he is STILL playing college football. Boy needs to step aside and let the young boys play. Funny you say that, NALT. I've been watching the old series "Coach" recently, and I saw you on an episode today trying to make it on the team as a 46yo walk-on:  I loved that show. Do you remember the episode where they reached the pinnacle of college football and played Alabama? It was a little too far fetched though as the writers would have us believe that they actually beat Alabama. I saw that one a few days ago. MinnSt won on a last play punt return for a TD and 2pt conversion. 11-10. |
