Lots of new names/faces all over.  Worrysome the lack of experience in the D backfield. We could get burned by a good passing team.

This is the first comment I've seen about the quality of our coaching staff. I've suspected that is one of the reasons we have been so successful  in recruiting.  Maybe guys visit other schools, then come to Bama and realize Bama's coaches are "a cut above."

To me, the key to the season is UGA in week #4.  If we win that game, it will turn some heads.

Let the games begin!  Then we'll find out.

I've always liked low pre-season expectations.

Another big, big recruiting win for CDB & staff.  Barners must be shaking their heads.

We now have the #2 ranked recruiting class. Wow! A big question about a new HC and new staff is always: can they recruit?  CdB has certainly answered that.

You gotta love A'Shawn. Hard nosed. No nonsense.  I loved him when he was at Bama.  Players just knew he was a guy you didn't want to cross.  And he showed it on the field.

Recruiting has been impressive.  In part, I think KDB is tapping into his west coast connections.

Hope these guys can coach as well as they can recruit.

There is reason for optimism but much still to be proven on the field.

Impressive the way CDB & staff are showing their recruiting chops.

To me, this is a move by ESPN to lay off some cost while keeping the marquee games. Most places where Bama alums around the country gather to view games will have TNT & TBS.  But if the games get fragmented to other channels, there could be problems.

Between the portal additions and the summer enrollees gonna be a lot of new faces working out this summer.  Hope the returning lettermen can provide some leadership.

We'll know something about our team after the UGA game.

He is an experienced DB albeit in the ACC.  Still, his playing experience is something Bama needs.  Gotta hope our coaches will help him improve in a hurry, which will give the freshmen time to learn the D.

The portal had few - if any -  top guys.  To me, coaches have done a good job finding the best of what's out there. There will be a lot of unknowns in the first few games.  Gotta hope some guys step up and stay healthy.
