Typical? No. Quiet? Fat Chance! Unforgettable? Yes. A pink sombrero, crimson & white striped overalls, and a bombastic, effervescent spirit are visible aspects of my "fandom" for the University of Alabama (specifically softball). As a former Bama soccer player, my love for the school runs deep. It's rooted in a tradition based on supporting my friends, and the school that has given me so much. Alabama awarded me the Inaugural Crimson Tide school spirit award in 2005 for my efforts. I've been dancing on dugouts since 2004. Opposing players are distracted beyond measure with my theatrical displays; they DO notice my socks. The sold out crowd of 3,940 receives a personal pre-game hand pound from me, then follows my lead in unison during the game. Cheers of "RUFIO!" & "SHARKBAIT" echo off of the scoreboard at Rhoads' Stadium. To me it's not just a game, it's a sporting EXPERIENCE! ROLL TIDE
