Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson was knocked out in the first half of the team's overtime loss to Louisiana-Monroe with an undisclosed injury. CBS Sports Network first reported that Wilson had a broken collarborne, but then retracted the report.

Officially, Arkansas is calling it an “injury above the shoulders.” ...

WTH?  Did they report that, "Petrino had a below-the-waist episode with a person who may not be male"?  No.
This is the most secretive series of reports from Arkansas since Petrino's interview with his A.D.

Despite an earlier report by CBS Sports, multiple other outlets are now saying that Arkansas senior QB Tyler Wilson did not break his collarbone in Saturday's loss to Louisiana-Monroe.
The nature or extent of the "upper body injury" is still unknown, but the broken collarbone appears to have been ruled out. More information should be disclosed later. Wilson took some punishing hits in the pocket last season but remained healthy, so this development is better than the previous report. The Razorbacks do face Alabama on Saturday. We apologize for relaying misinformation earlier.

Major meltdown in Arkansas, especially after they dropped to Aub-level ranking (out of top 25).  They're calling for the coaches to all be fired.  Check their comments:

I am done believing this state sport writers. This defense is so much better you all said. Yes, better at knocking our own players out the game. Hayes, I defensed you to the end. I have no credibility left because I thought you were the real deal. I apoligize to all those whom I offended. Haynes needs to get his ass out that press box and get down on the field with the defense that way worst than last year’s. Just think, Wilson could have left for the NFL…now, he’s hurt because of his sorry line…and the defense is really an embarrassment…Paul Petrino, you are not your brother. All those passes by Allen who is not your second team quarterback. He is terrible. Well, I guess I don’t have to worry about spending a lot of money for next week or the LSU game. JLS, enjoy that money while you can. I saw nothing out of you on the sideline. A good coach at halftime would have told Haynes to get his but out of that press box. Mr. Smooth, I still agree with your decision on firing Bobby. This loss goes directly to the coaches. I hope we can win at least five games ths year. I totally agree that it is time to say good bye to Little Rock. If they want to see college football, they need to get UALR going…sad…sad…sad…

Alabama at Arkansas looks non-competitive in light of the Arky injuries and the distaste for #1 Alabama among the followers of NCAA football outside the SEC. 

Despite the disappointment, I look forward to seeing Florida against this year's Tennessee team.  Both played well yesterday.

Several things come to mind:
1.  AJ seems good at taking a sack gently.  He turns at the last minute or goes down at an angle when sacked.  Conversely, Tyler Wilson holds the ball until the last second and takes the brunt of the force straight-up.
2.  Week 2 is often the BIG WEEK for upsets.
3.  I still think CNS was experimenting with the O-line, which led to so many sacks.

I hope Wison doesn't play because of concussion symptoms. He has a future. Hs O line is terrible.
