Corey Sandberg, a redshirt freshman linebacker for the Vandals, was shot while serving in Afghanistan. Idaho visits LSU on Saturday. Sandberg is one of two active NCAA FBS players who have received the Purple Heart. The other is Clemson's Daniel Rodriguez.
