Quote
1 Alabama player who has thrown at least four TD passes in more than one game. Current Crimson Tide quarterback A.J. McCarron threw four TD passes against Western Kentucky on Saturday. He tossed four TD passes against Vanderbilt last season. Only three other Alabama QBs have thrown at least four TD passes in a game. Gary Hollingsworth set the school record with five against Ole Miss in 1989. Mike Shula threw four TD passes against Memphis State in 1985, and John Parker Wilson had four against Arkansas in 2007.

1 Idaho player with a Purple Heart, which is given to members of the U.S. military who are injured or killed in action. Corey Sandberg, a redshirt freshman linebacker for the Vandals, was shot while serving in Afghanistan. Idaho visits LSU on Saturday. Sandberg is one of two active NCAA FBS players who have received the Purple Heart. The other is Clemson's Daniel Rodriguez.

7 Consecutive times that Auburn has lost back-to-back games away from Jordan-Hare Stadium, then won at home to stop the two-game losing streak. The Tigers enter Saturday's home game against Louisiana-Monroe after losing to Clemson in Atlanta and at Mississippi State. The most recent time that Auburn has lost back-to-back road games, then lost at home to extend the losing streak came in the Tigers' winless 1950 season, when they lost at Florida and Georgia Tech, then fell to Tulane at home.

11 Times in the past seven seasons that Texas has attracted stadium-record attendance while playing away from home. On Saturday, the Longhorns visit Ole Miss' Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, where the record attendance is 62,657 to see the Rebels play Alabama in 2009....
