I continue to be amazed about how many times this season Bama has had a slow third quarter.

As to special teams, aside from the fumbled punt, there was also a breakdown allowing LSU a big return 4 secs before the half, on kick coverage. Also a 33yd. CM punt set LSU up in field position halfway through the 3rd.

I would like to go back to what you pointed out, that Offensive PI was total BS. and if not for that call, i think Bama kills the LSU will early. Bama scores there that would have put us up Big by half time.

I can't remember the last time Bama lost the stats battle. It was sort of a shocker this game.
