Consensus All-American running back Kenjon Barner didn't say if he thought his Oregon Ducks could have beaten 2012 BCS national champion Alabama. He didn't even say if he thought Oregon could have beaten Notre Dame, the team the Crimson Tide routed 42-14 on Monday night in the BCS title game.

I think he stayed honest about all the report he did. I don't think they would have been just fine enough to win the NCG. I will say Oregon ended up where they should be this year, right behind us. RTR!

That Oregon style does pretty well until they go against a team with athletes and speed on the defensive side of the ball. Then they are just mortal like every other team. The problem then becomes their defense is not quite good enough to help them win a smash-mouth brawl.

Oregon lost to Alabama Lite (Stanford). Did anyone hear the Stanford coach say after the Rose Bowl win over Wisconsin they wanted to the the "Alabama of the West Coast".
