The list of Kenny Bell, Chris Black, Amari Cooper, Cyrus Jones, Christian Jones, Kevin Norwood, DeAndrew White, and Raheem Falkins, not to mention the other recruits and TE's like Howard.  Also, the running back position is stacked with Kenyan Drake, Jalston Fowler, Derrick Henry, and TJ Yeldon.

Actually, we have one very proven RB in Yeldon & Drake has shown promise. The others are unproven. At WR we have Cooper, Norwood, & Christian Jones as proven receivers. I don't get excited about high school hype, I want to see what they can do on the college football field. Our WR depth is pretty good, but a couple of injuries might be devastating. I think we can have a special offensive team this year, if we avoid the injury bug.

I think we are solid at RB and Rec.  My concern is QB.  If something happens to AJ we are in trouble.  We have some new faces protecting him on the O-line too.  I can't wait to have a look at Howard at TE.  I think we are going to have one of the best offensive units we've ever had this time.

I agree SC. I have been saying for weeks the back up QB is the real thing I am worried about. It takes more of a man to back up AJ not only in clean up duties, but when he (AJ) gets those bumps and bruises where he is out a half or maybe even a QTR. Mr. Sims is good but he can't carry this team in place of AJ, not to be mean to him but it JMHO. RTR!

The way CNS and staff recruit we are deep at positions. Like MD said some are not proven SEC yet, but they will be.

I can't remember a time when we have had so much talent at all of the skill positions, especially WR. I agree that the key is going to be keeping AJ healthy.

Tell me something guys, ain't it fun to be dominating college football again (and listen to everybody hate us again?)?  Cheesy

The best way to keep AJ healthy is to have a good running game and Bama has proven that they can do that. But as someone stated, there are new linemen this year and will the running game be as effective as it has in the past years. But one thing in Bama's favor is good running backs can make average linemen look pretty good.

Yeldon is looking for his suporting cast and Henry and Drake should fill that. I think Fowler will be an H back since Henry arrived. I'm telling you, if Henry healed up good and didn't lose anything in his healing, he will impress you.

They've got good receivers running out their ears and then they have some great receivers. If I see a negative of any of them it is some of them don't run good routes but they all have great hands. If there is one thing though that limits some of the players getting playing time it is what are they doing when the ball isn't thrown to them. Blocking downfield is a must if you want to get any playing time. JMO

Exactly right. That was our weak spot last year and again this year. I am always leery of injuries because they can make a great team good or even average.

Assuming AJ, Cooper, and Yeldon stay healthy this is going to be a fun team to watch.  It's true we have depth at WR and RB but Cooper and Yeldon are on a different level.  I think those two may be a better combo than Julio/Ingram in 08-09.

That's a tough one.  Maybe QB play makes the difference.

My answer to your question is no, but there are some other loaded teams out there though.

I have 2 business partners. One is a USCe grad and the other is an LSU fan. The USCe grad has always given Bama props and even went to the Bama-Ole Miss game with me last year. The LSU fan hates Alabama. When the barn beat us in 2010, he called it exactly like it happened. I was as sick as I've ever been after a game and he was relentless that year about reminding me of his perfect prognostication.

However, the gloating has been all mine the last 2 years!!!  Cheesy

True. McElroy did his job but AJ is a better QB.
