The Alabama softball team won its second consecutive Southeastern Conference regular-season championship Sunday with a 10-1 victory at Ole Miss.
Junior Jennifer Fenton led the Crimson Tide (45-7, 19-6 in the SEC) led the Crimson Tide with two hits and four RBI.
"This was for Tuscaloosa and all the communities in Alabama that were hit by the tornadoes," Alabama coach Patrick Murphy said in a news release. "It's great to bring home an SEC championship two years in a row, and we can't wait to celebrate with the people in Tuscaloosa."
Senior Kelsi Dunne (23-3) pitched a complete game, hold the Rebels to six hits while striking out six.
