Well it looks like our depleted military is going to have to try and fix the world again. Everybody I have to say I don't like this Obama has cut our Military so thin you can read a newspaper through it. We are not prepared for what we are about to do. JMHO. Being there and done that. RTR!

All we are going to do is shoot some bottle rockets at Damascus, and then get laughed at by the world.  We are so thin that really is all we can do right now.

We need a Kosovo style, bomb the heck out of them for 3 months, battle plan IMO.  It isn't worth putting our troops in country, but we have to do something.  There is a civil war going on there, so if we just bomb the right places the rebels can take control of the country without sacrificing any of our soldiers.

Or a drone strike against the dictator would also be an excellent option if we can get him.  In fact, I think that should be our new policy.  If one of these rogue butchers wants to slaughter people, then don't go after their army, go after them personally.  That will make the next guy think twice about his decision to use chemical weapons.  Saddam Hussein is gone, and it took awhile but so is Osama bin Laden.  If we take out Bashar al-Assad quickly, within the next few months, then I'll bet that will give the next guy something to think about.  Then tell Mahmoud Ahmadinejad he's next if he doesn't halt what he's doing.

I agree. We do not need a long drawn out war with troops on the ground. We need to do it full force ahead with air strikes. The intent should be to get it over with as quick as possible.

It makes me sick we are trying to fight this war through the media.

I agree pmull. Obama wanted to take credit for the o sama bib laden killing. He could not because he has never been in service and never heard the sound of an AK-47 busting ground close by. He is proving he is against America and he will have it broke before he leaves office. RTR!

All the tyrants of the world know that now is the time to act.  In 3 years the next president couldn't possibly be any weaker.  That is my biggest concern right now.  There is no telling what the nut jobs will do while they think they can get away with it.

You are so right. I remember a time when HO Chin Minn thought he could be a tyrant but we changed his mind. I didn't say we won the war but because we had to fight with our hands tied behind our back. This is the same of guy from what I understand. RTR!
