"Former Alabama quarterback Greg McElroy worked out at the NFL Combine on Sunday. McElroy suffered an injury to his throwing hand in the Senior Bowl, preventing him from throwing at the combine. TideSports caught up with him in Indianapolis to check on the injury and see if analysts think he will get drafted.

40-yard dash: 4.84 seconds

Broad jump: 8 feet, 11 inches
*McElroy was not able to throw at the combine due to the injury he suffered in the Senior Bowl
Draft projection: 6th-7th round
What the experts are saying:
"If he does get drafted, it will be late. I like him a lot. You can tell he's a competitor. He does a lot of the little things right. His footwork is good. You don't have to coach him much. He has great anticipation. He gets it. He really knows the game, and he's a winner. The kid just wins.
"Arm strength is overrated, but when it affects your accuracy, then it becomes a problem, and I think it affects his accuracy. He tries to overcompensate at times, and his footwork isn't the same when he's trying to drive the ball downfield or fit it into a tight spot. He just can't make some throws that he should be able to or have to make in the NFL."
