The school announced details on Henderson's suspension Tuesday, and the embattled player will miss three regular season games as well as an exhibition game./quote]

According to police reports obtained by USA TODAY Sports this summer, Henderson had three run-ins with police in Oxford, Miss., including one stop in which Henderson was found in possession of marijuana and cocaine. It is only three game suspenion plus a exhibition game. At least they made two of the games important. He will be suspended for the opener against Troy and the first two SEC games.

I actually thought it was an interesting pick of games for a 3 game suspension. It could have been their first three games of the season Troy, Coastal Carolina and Miss Valley St. That would be nothing. They picked the opener against Troy and the first two games of the SEC. Bigger games than the out of conference but the easiest two SEC games on the schedule in auburn and Miss State. Why not drop Troy and add the 3rd SEC game... because it is LSU and Ole Miss needs to win that game.

It wasn't long ago that there was an article in the paper that reported the Ole Miss coach saying Henderson had learned his lesson and there would be no more problems out of him. Maybe he was talking about his on-court antics and not the police department.
