Alabama survives 7th inning scare, moves within one win of WCWS title series

I believe Alabama became only the 2nd team east of the Mississippi to win the WCWS in 2012 (Michigan being the other).  Now we have two SEC teams in the finals just two years later.  The balance of power is shifting in college softball.

I like their chances against UF.

True.  We beat them 2/3 in Gainesville.  This Florida team looks strong and deserve to be in the Championship Series.  I think both teams are playing better now than before.

Florida will be tough. I think we win but UF will not make it easy.

UF took it to us tonight, but remember, we lost the 1st game to Ok. 2 years ago and came back to win it all.

The game we lost in Gainesville was 7-1, Bama came back and won the next game 7-0.

It seemed Florida's pitcher was throwing a lot of first pitch strikes, which our batters were mostly watching, getting behind in the count, then swinging at less desirable pitches.  Hopefully Bama adjusts and gets more aggressive on that first pitch.

But yeah, Florida is playing well right now.
