The larger, more "relevant to Bama" issue is that of athletes and their Twitter accounts. I have wandered how long our AD would allow twittering, especially by players that have a CNS imposed gag order for speaking with the press. I may have the team rule wrong, but was under the impression that freshmen players (not sure about redshirt freshmen either) were not allowed to interview. So I questioned the wisdom in allowing them to make statements and comments to a worldwide audience, through their Twitter or Facebook account.
