Davis shared the news and the 6-foot-7, 315-pound two-way lineman for Meridian - he committed to Alabama as a defensive tackle - became Alabama's fourth known commitment for the 2016 signing class.

"It wasn't published for everybody to know," Davis said. "It was between me and Nick Saban, the coaches at Alabama and the coaches down here." ...

He is a kid in a man's body. He has already committed to college but may still be looking forward to his first date and getting his drivers license. Kids have no business committing before the first game of their junior season. Recruiting (by all schools) is out of control and getting worse every year.

With that said, 6-7, 315!?!?!?!??! He isn't gonna be a rib on the O or D line, he's a half-slab!

  ATU. I would almost call him a Monster in a kids body. We going to have a depth at D-line if the old injury bug will stay away. RTR!
