With Drake, Saban said the injury was similar to the broken bone running back Derrick Henry suffered in spring practice in 2013. Saban said he suffered a similar injury when he was in school too. He said it would be at least eight-to-10 weeks before he can even think about playing football.

While the injuries to Kelly and Duvall will hurt us while they are out I am relieved with the news on Kenyon.

I thought he broke both bones in his leg, which is very tough to recover from.  But looking back on it a dislocated ankle explains why the trainer went out there immediately and put his foot back in place.  It also explains the pain.  I have broken a bone before and it does hurt, but not that bad.  If it is a clean break most of the pain is on the initial blow.  After that it isn't that bad.  But a dislocated ankle, now that is another matter entirely.  I've never had one of those, but I can tell you for a fact that I have turned my ankle over severely and had way more pain from that than I did from the broken bone.  So I can only imagine how bad that was hurting.

I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this.  Coach Saban said it was a break similar to DH's in Spring practice 2013...now it is being called a dislocation?  I didn't think of the torn ligaments though...
