Freshman Myles Garrett has 7 1/2 sacks among his nine tackles for loss and seven quarterback hurries. He was the first player Nick Saban mentioned when asked about the improvements on the Aggie defense.

"He's a really good pass rusher, he has good initial quickness, he's long, he's hard to block," Saban said. "They are playing much better on defense. I think it's sort of reflected in their points allowed by them. I think they'll play us in a lot of eight-man fronts and make it tough for us to run the ball. Our skill guys are going to have to play really well if that's the way they choose to play us, and if they're going play us in more split-safeties-type stuff we're going to have to be able to run the ball better than we did last week to control the line of scrimmage and control the ball on offense." ...

Okay, we'll run it over and around them, then pass when start guessing.  How difficult can that be?

Our "O" line will have to step it up Saturday and Blake will need to find open receivers against an 8 man front. Against TAMU, there WILL be open receivers.

Sims isn't very tall (maybe actually 5' 10"), so he doesn't see well from the pocket.  That's the advantage of rolling out.  Fortunately he throws pretty well on the rollout.  Arky forced him to stay in the pocket for most of the game.

We need to be able to run the ball 2/3 of the time.  If we can't, that 21-20 prediction may be close.

TAMU, even if stacking the box, can't stop our run consistently, IMO. Look for Yeldon to have a good day. Would like to see Henry get off to quicker starts. If he can, lookout!

I see Yeldon and Henry over 100 yds each, with Coop getting another 100 receiving if we execute.
