In a ruling issued Tuesday, the NCAA publicly reprimanded LSU and placed it on probation for one year. The NCAA also accepted LSU’s self-imposed reduction of two scholarships, as well as reductions in official visits and recruiting calls.

I give this a 3 or 4 on the reprimand-o-meter.

All they did was accept the self-imposed scholarship reductions and recruiting restrictions. This is a slap on the wrist at best. I agree with Jamos comment above,I wanted more.

I think they got off light because they reported and did all they could to be appropriate to the NCAA. That helped out a lot. RTR!
