Monday was a day to watch film, meet, but leave the pads behind in Tuscaloosa. After a 20-13 overtime win at LSU and Saturday's 25-20 beating of No. 1 Mississippi State, it's just time.

"It gives us the time to heal up and for the players to use the time to get some rest because we have tough games coming up," Saban said. "We're just like being in the playoffs now. We can't afford to lose so every game is a big game." ...

Lots of banged up players:

Running back T.J. Yeldon's battled ankle and foot injuries for the past few weeks. Other starters have had nagging issues like left tackle Cam Robinson (ankle), tight end Brian Vogler (knee) and DeAndrew White (toe, hamstring). Linebacker Reggie Ragland played the last two games after breaking a bone in his hand and linebacker Dillon Lee had to be helped off the field against both LSU and Mississippi State.

Worried about Dillon Lee.  Any news?

By the statement by Coach Saban I get the impression that he knows Bama will be in the playoffs...  Applause E-Cred  Applause E-Cred

I have not heard, but he didn't look good leaving the field.

I have not heard, but he didn't look good leaving the field.

I searched.  Only one mention of his injury since the game, and was a tweet.  Prolly not serious comment.  No news can be bad news.  We'll know more after the practice report today (Tuesday).

Good news is we should be able to rest the banged up players and sub the starters out early this week.  I think the backups will get some playing time in the second half of the Iron Bowl also.  Cool

TIFWIW.  I saw on another forum that the rumor is a bruised knee.  Someone else on that site said that they saw him (in a video on al.com) walking off the field after the game Saturday night.  I didn't find any other info.

That would be good news!
