The Scott Cochran effect is also creating early progress with Harrison. Workouts with Alabama's strength and conditioning coach have already bumped his weight from 206 pounds to 218 in the month since enrolling.
Now he's looking forward to working with new secondary coach Mel Tucker, a former NFL defensive coordinator in Cleveland, Jacksonville and Chicago.
"He's really passionate about his players," Harrison said. "He's been in the League for a long time. He knows a lot. He coached under coach Saban a couple times before he went to the NFL. He's gonna help get us ready for the next level. He knows what it takes."
