5-star guard Terrance Ferguson has generated plenty of excitement in Tuscaloosa since announcing his commitment to Avery Johnson's Crimson Tide a week ago and the 6-foot-7 star lived up to that excitement during a nationally televised performance on Friday night.

Bama also has had a visit from one of the in-state stars this week, Jamal Johnson, and he seemed to have had a good visit.

We HAVE to keep the in-state talent, especially Birmingham, here & with the Tide. Five or six years ago there were I think 5 good starting guards/forwards for successful programs all from Alabama. Unfortunately, the Tide did not have one.


Eric Bledsoe  UK  (Bham & playing for Suns in NBA)
Louis Dale  Cornell (led them to NCAA 2 or 3 times)  (Bham)
DeMarre Carroll  Missouri   (Bham)
DeMarcus Cousins  UK  (Bham) (he was a problem child and might not have been good for Bama)
Kerron Johnson  Belmont  (Madison)

There are more examples, just can't think of them.

I look forward if the Lord doesn't call me home to 3 yrs from now at the team. CAJ should have them built to NCAA championship type team. JMHO. RTR!
