 Sigma Nu fraternity suspended all activities at its Old Dominion University chapter Monday as it opened an investigation into three sexually suggestive banners that were hung from the front porch of the group's off-campus house over the weekend.

"The Fraternity condemns the derogatory and demeaning language used on the banners," the fraternity's executive director Brad Beacham said in a statement. "Such language has no place in our Fraternity or within any caring community, such as that of ODU."

I get the humor part of it all but... how would you feel about going to drop your precious little girl off at college and see that hanging from a frat house? 

My daughter would have laughed & said, "what do you expect from a bunch of immature boys."

You only have two choices. To speak out clearly against this sort of vaguely predatory way of thinking about women, or let it go, providing a type of boys-will-be-boys atmosphere that emboldens the really bad apples to go a step too far. I don't mind the bias on the side of protecting girls.

I'd like one of these little pricks to accidentally try something on one of those women who recently graduated from Army Ranger school. I'd pay to see it.

We are becoming a country of over-sensitive whiners and crybabies and are losing our sense of humor. Humor is an important element of our great nation and is good for a person. It was a dumb joke, nothing else. We all need to lighten up and smell the roses. It's also called political correctness.
