I remember growing up and watching Palmer, and all the older guys playing on that course on TV. I think it was Pat Sumerall who use to call the games on TV and he made it sound so interesting to me. RTR!

It is, along with Nick Faldo and I think they are pretty good. I did enjoy Summerall and Ken Venturi in their day, as well. And say what you will about Verne Lundquist and his football announcing shortcomings, but he is an icon calling the shots at #16 at the Masters.
, now finding something that Verne does good is a miracle. He does golf good and I wonder why he don't do college basketball and leave college football alone? RTR!
