Baylor will be left to join Conference USA or similar conference if the Big 12 breaks up. No major conference will want them and they know it.


While Baylor is pushing an email campaign to preserve the Big 12 Conference and rivalry games in the state, Texas A&M said Friday that the Bears purchased only 830 tickets from a possible allotment of 3,850 for their Oct. 15 football game at Kyle Field.

Only a one hour drive from Waco To College Station. If you are a Baylor fan living in Houston, College Station is 1 hr. closer to Houston than Waco, for instance. How many did Baylor have at their spring game,--12?

Only 5 of the top 20 attendance records for Baylor are at or above the capacity for the stadium.

In other words, they've had 5 sell-outs, ever.

Baylor carries big muscles in the Texas legislature and they are fighting this harder than anyone. Like I said, they'll be playing Tulane and UAB if the Big 12 folds.
