Early in the first quarter of the game between LSU and Mississippi State, Bulldogs right guard Tobias Smith suffered an apparent knee injury that kept him out for the rest of the game.
Already thin at offensive line, seeing the junior on the sidelines with an iced-up knee and crutches did little to make any cowbell-ringing fan feel good. Unfortunately, those worst fears have been confirmed.
Multiple media outlets are reporting today via the teams spokesman that Smith has a partially torn ACL and will miss the rest of the season.
