What do you all think about these selections from al.com?

Stabler better than Joe Namath? Whoa, what a rough choice to make. Coach Bryant said Stabler was his best QB but Namath was the best athlete. Namath was a 3 year starter & won a National Championship. Stabler was a 2 year starter and went 11-0 in 1966 with a big win over Nebraska in a bowl game. I would probably pick Stabler as the best QB.

Musso and Wilbur Jackson better than Tony Nathan? I think he was definitely better than Musso, who was great but Nathan still better. He could run the ball and run back kick-offs. He played on the 1978 NC team and his carries were limited due to being in the wishbone.

There are more selections, what do you all think?

My favorite RB from Bryant's teams is Cotton Clark from the early '60s.  Hard to compare his stats with Wilbur, Tony N, Musso and such because the O was very different back than, and they only played a 10-game season + bowl game.  All I know is, when Cotton got the ball, he knew what to do with it.  Smooth runner that was hard to catch & bring down.

I've read about him, very solid RB with outstanding stats for 1962. After reading this, I would lean towards him over Wilbur Jackson owing to his incredible diversity as a RB. Thanks for the reminder.

Quote
At Alabama, he was 3 year lettermen as a halfback, fullback, safety, and punter. In 1962, he led the SEC and was second nationally with 92 total points. Most of these points were from 15 touchdowns which was an Alabama team record. He was also third nationally in punting at 42.5 yards per attempt and seventh in punt returns at 15.2 yards per return.

I believe Stabler was the best QB because nobody believed in lefties and he proved them all wrong. I have to say Musso was the best RB cause I remember 1973 IB when he dove from the 5 yard line and landed in the endzone for a TD. JMHO. RTR!

That was the 1971 Iron Bowl, Ricky.
We clobbered the Aubs and their "Heisman Trophy winner".

Thank you my brother Chechem. My mind is about done gone away but I still remember the pictures. That to me that night was the pretties run I had ever seen up to Trent Richardson shaking the Ole Miss player out of his britches just before he scored. RTR!
