"The offense as a whole, we've got a chip on our shoulder," Alabama senior wide receiver Darius Hanks said. "They are supposed to be so high-ranked as an offense. I feel like our offense is even better."
Even Saban said Arkansas has the best wide receivers corps in the Southeastern Conference.
"We're going to go out there and prove on Saturday who is the best," Hanks said.
Arkansas' defense might feel the same way. It is overshadowed by its own offense, not to mention the Alabama defense that is getting top billing today, and yet some people consider this unit the team's strength.
"They had a pretty good defense last year, but they have an extra year of experience," Alabama standout offensive lineman Barrett Jones said. "They're doing some different things on third down, standing them up and walking them around."
