After being verbally challenged by Vanderbilt prior to last weekend's contest in Nashville, Tenn., Alabama responded by hammering its conference opponent to the tune of 59-0, sending a statement to the rest of the country.
While very few people had expected a Commodores win, the sheer dominance displayed by the Crimson Tide was not lost on Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason.
